A week in Paris

Paris was very exciting for me because some of my favourite TV shows and movies are set there – Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, Find me in Paris and Ballerina.

The first thing we saw was the Louvre Pyramid.

Then we walked down the Champs-Élysées all the way to the Arc de Triomphe. We were able to climb through the inside, up a spiral staircase, all the way to the top.

After the Arc de Triomphe, we headed to the Eiffel Tower, but we didn’t climb it today (we saved that for another day).

And that was all just on Day 1!

In “Miraculous Ladybug”, there is a bakery based on this one in Montmartre.

My croissant was delicious, the best I had in Paris (and I’ve eaten them every day!)

We were lucky that the Christmas markets had just started. There was a giant Ferris wheel, carousel, a skating rink and an entire fun fair.

A few days later, we climbed the Eiffel Tower. We went up steps to the 2nd level and then took a lift to the top.

Other interesting places were the Musée de l’Orangerie where we saw some of Monet’s water lily paintings, the Palais Garnier (old ballet and opera house – seen in the movie Ballerina) and the Galeries Lafayette, a huge department store with lots of Christmas decorations.

And today, our very last day in Paris, it snowed!
